Submit a completed form and all required supporting documents to the One-Window Service Office (OWSO) of the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) during regular working hours.
Completed applications will be processed by OWSO and forwarded to the responsible department for review. The application will be returned to the applicant if more information is required.
Step 3
Technical officials will conduct an on-site inspection, where applicable, to ensure safety and security compliance based on the type of request (import, use, or extension of use of radioactive materials).
The technical officials will prepare a mission report and submit for review and decision.
Step 4
The approval process will be completed within 45 working days from the day a completed application is received.
Approved permission letters are valid for 2 years.
To extend the validity, applicant must reapply at least 60 days before expiration date.
Applicant may collect the permission letter at the OWSO.
Step 5
Applicants must pay public service fees as set out in Inter-Ministerial Prakas. Public entities do not pay fees but must comply with all procedures and requirements.
