The National Geological Laboratory of Cambodia (NGLC) provides analytical services on the mechanical, physical, and chemical properties of geological and mineral samples, as well as mineral water, to determine quality and mineral content in accordance with high standards.

Application Process
Step 1
Customers, including exploration and mining companies, traders, researchers, and the public, who wish to use the above services should contact the address below: The National Geological Laboratory of Cambodia (NGLC), located on Street 135, Khlakoun Village, Longvek Commune, Kampong Tralach District, Kampong Chhnang Province.
Step 2
Customers may consult with the NGLC’s technical staff to determine the most appropriate analytical methods and parameters for their samples.
Samples must then be submitted to the NGLC along with a completed and signed Sample Submittal Form (SSF)(download here). Alternatively, customers may submit the form online.
Customers shall proceed with payment in advance according to the public service fee set by the Ministry of Mines and Energy and the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The service period is between 7 and 30 working days, starting from the date the Sample Submittal Form is signed upon sample handover/receipt.
Step 3
If the analysis results fall outside the detection range of the selected method, customers will be notified. The NGLC will recommend a more appropriate method, if available and required by the customer.
Step 4
A Certificate of Analysis will be issued to customers in hard copy at the NGLC and in soft copy (data file) via email as designated.
Please Note: Any complaints regarding the analysis result must be submitted to NGLC within 15 working days from the date the certificate was issued. NGLC may retain leftover samples for 3 months. For water samples, the retention period is 1 month, starting from the date the analysis certificate is issued.
